Manufacturer Description
PV-GS80 Highlights Optical Image Stabilizer Panasonic’s O.I.S. minimizes the hand-shake that can be such a problem with handheld shots. Because Panasonic’s system is optical, there is no image quality degradation. With O.I.S. , the mini dv camcorder is equipped for clear, beautiful shooting of motion pictures.
Widescreen 2.7-inch LCD This model features a 2.7-inch LCD with High-Picture-Quality Wide Mode, which produces images that make for beautiful, dramatic viewing on a wide-screen TV. The image is processed on 16:9 area of the CCD. Because the image decoded has the same proportions as your wide-screen TV, there is virtually no picture quality degradation. You get beautiful images and all the excitement and dynamism on either a wide 16:9 screen TV or a conventional 4:3 TV.
Customer Camcorders DV mini Digital Reviews
I have tried the old vhs (were very good until they stopped making them) and also the mini-dvd (which in my opinion suck due to loading time, jumps, the littlest shake messes them up, and certain discs are made cheaper and wont’t work in some cameras…not to mention they have short record times)
buy this camera and you’ll be set.
p.s. I hope they don’t stop making quality stuff like this due to the fact they will not sell as many as when manufacturers build cheap units.
